Balisandy resort Latest review 9th February 2024

The staff are so friendly, including the girls that offer a great outside massage under the pergola. There are many trees and grass areas that surround all balconies and pool, making it an oasis. Kuta Beach is only 300m away and is the perfect location.

It has limited food, and the breakfast could be better, but at the same token, they are working so hard to make the resort how it was pre covid .

Good

Resort environment is very quiet. The room is very spacious and clean. 1 king bed and 1 single bed. You can dry your wet clothes outside the room. The bathroom is old fashioned but big with bathtub. I booked through booking.com with very reasonable rate including breakfast. Located at Kuta beach area. 10 to 15 minutes walk to Kuta beach walking street and main road. At Kuta beach you can find plenty of surfing lessons agents, which is very cheap for a lesson. You can bargain the rate. Many shops options. Nearby to Alfa convenient mart, Shopping mall, grab pick up & drop of point. Nightlife begins after 11.00pm. Most of the clubbing place been closed compared when I visited on year 2013....not very happening. All this is about 10 to 15 minutes walk. If you are solo or a couple travellers... it's advisable to hire a bike.

The resort looks old. Breakfast not taste good. The resort not exactly located at in front of beach as the name Bali Sandy Resort. You have to walk 15 minutes to the beach. Overall it's very very busy area. It's very difficult to travel by car.... because of it's traffic. Overall the traffic is very very very slow moving at and to Ulluwatu, Kuta, Seminyak, so on. Your day will be wasted stuck in traffic. It's advisable to plan your tour or trip properly if you want to visit Bali with the hot weather. If you flight to catch, you better go out to airport vert very early so that you won't stuck in traffic and miss your flight

Decent place for a short stay.

Peaceful, the location is close to kuta beach, all the shopping areas, food joints, and the staff is very helpful.

The property is quite old and needs some renovations, especially the bathrooms.

Oké and affordable resort

Spacious resort right in the centre of Kuta and close to the beach. Also very affordable.

The resort has seen better days and was very basic. Personally, we found Kuta much to crowded and hectic (not much the resort can do about).

Great location, good value. Rooms should have improvements.

The location. It is perfectly located in Kuta, near to the beach, bars, restaurants, everywhere.

The rooms need some improvements. Bathroom had a leak in the sink. Toilets should have the thin pipe that all toilets have in SouthEast Asian countries. The bed mattress was a bit hard.

Friendly staff and reasonable location but bathroom below the average and linen and towels poor

Best omelette I have eaten for a very long time. All staff friendly and helpful

Bathroom very rundown with shower curtain having old mouldy stains. Water temperature in shower would continuously change without touching taps. Towels that where once white are now a grey colour. Bed linen old to point of paper thin.

Good, I'll go back.

nice layout, good breakfast, great location, some really helpful staff. Good blend of young adults to people in their 60's I didn't hear or see any young children.

Bed was worn out& squeaked with every turn, no bath mat & towel I had to grab a bath mat off the trolley but there wore no fresh towels so had to use a pool towel even though I asked the house keeper directly if they could put one in the bathroom & no fridge.

Extremely good value for money.

Balisandy gives you value for money. It has great friendly staff who will do everything to help you. And the facility is attractive & extremely clean.

Depending on where your room is, you may need to run the hot water on full until it turns hot - this may take up to half an hour. You may need to identify with staff if your room attendant forgot to leave towels or a bath plug. However, they will address this very quickly.

I had to spend two nights some how managed by staying out of room as much as possible.

NEVER AGAIN

THE ROOM WAS LARGE AND BED WAS NICE AND COMFY THE STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND ROOM SERVICE WAS GOOD WHEN THE PHONE WAS WORKING IN MY ROOM.

THE ANTS ALL OVER THE BATHROOM AND ON THE DESK IN ROOM BUT AS THEY SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR NEVER TO RETURN THERE AGAIN.

the location is awesome;

the location is awesome; although, its difficult to find. near the mall, eating places, souvenir shops & other basic commodities and most of all its less than 5 mins. walk to the beach.

the room was a little bit dusty and dirty. i thinks its not well maintained. the pool was great.

Even somebody is going to pay for me I will never stay in such shady place.

I dont know where to begin, firstly the gentlement in the checkin is impolite,doesnot smile and not helpful. The rooms shown in the website and actual are completely different. Rooms are dark old,has smell. Bedsheets are 20 yrs old has yellow patches same with the towels. Bathroom is the same. Shower curtain was so filthy i showered with curtains. Everything in bathroom is rusted and has fungus.

Very good value for money and great location. Oh and the pool!

We loved this place so much we cancelled the last 2 nights of our trip at another place to go back to Bali Sandy again. Look, its not perfect, but the pool is AMAZING! There is a bar in the pool and we basically had the pool to ourselves every evening (late March). Very close to the beach. Just off Poppies II, so its close to everything, but tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. The boyfriend enjoyed the massage ladies (next to the pool) very much and had a quick massage almost every day (very cheap). We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our trip and another 2 at the end.

Look, if you are looking for a budget place and not too worried about how modern the bathroom is, then this place is for you. If you are squeamish about a really old bathroom that looks like it could have been built in the previous century and has rusty bits and the door looks like it may disintegrate at any moment, then you wont like it. The rooms also smell quite moldy. Still, excellent value for money and the outdoor area (pool area) is freakin amazing!

April family stay!!

Great location, right on poppies 2 about 500m from the beach, beachwalk mall 500m from hotel also. Best money exchange on the corner of poppies 2 beach end - Will never go anywhere else - Facilities great including swim up bar, room servive and massage and beauty services right by pool so no need to venture out after a long day. $5 and the ladies are so friendly. Room service good and swim up bar for the price you can not go wrong. Stayed with 3 adults 2 kids - Reccomend floor rooms.

Room a bit musty, linen not clean but if you ask you can get better linen. Bathrooms outdated but for the price its great, you cant expect 5 star emenitiea with a 2 star budget!!

Pool area was gorgeous

I appreciate that this is cheap accomodation, but it left a lot to be desired. From the musty smell and moody bathroom to the blood stained sheets, it was rather horrifying accommodation. The staff speak minimal English as well which made communication hard. Wouldn't stay again, and wouldn't recommend.
